Available routes include thermoluminescence examination, porcelain material review, industrial CT imaging review and radiocarbon dating coordination. Method availability and whether work is performed directly or through a disclosed specialist provider are confirmed in the written quotation.

How an enquiry progresses

Initial review: send overall photographs, detail photographs, dimensions, known repairs and the question you need answered.
Written scope: we identify a suitable examination route, likely sampling needs, handling arrangements, fee and estimated timing.
Authorisation: no sampling or external measurement proceeds without the agreed written scope.
Reporting: observations, results, interpretation and limitations are separated so the evidence can be reviewed clearly.

What to prepare

A neutral, well-lit image of the whole object from several sides.
Close-up images of the base, marks, damaged areas and suspected repairs.
Height, width, depth or diameter, plus approximate weight where practical.
Known ownership, treatment and storage history, clearly distinguished from assumptions.

Please do not ship an object or remove a sample until written instructions have been issued.
